When my babies first started solids I would generally puree whatever it was that we my husband and I were having for dinner. They loved it and it opened them up to a large variety of foods early on. The whole idea with C Si Bon is, "as you would do, but don't have time to do". We all need a helping hand from time to time. When you've got a small family on the go it's even more important to keep yourself and them healthy and happy. I know that by Friday night, I want to get out of the kitchen and spend time relaxing. So keep these gorgeous baby foods in stock for just those occasions.
For this C Si Bon Poached Salmon and Veggies I poached the salmon (as the name suggests) until just opaque. I then steamed some sweet potatoes, green beans and roasted some tomatoes. Whilst I was blending everything together I added sweet potato broth in order to lighten the dish. Salmon is such a lovely fish to cook with and gentle on babies tummy.
All you need to do is place pouch into boiling water for about 6 minutes to heat through from frozen. Be sure to test the baby food before serving to your infant. This is a puree so ideally suited to a baby who is just starting on solids. Alternatively you can add rice, couscous or quinoa once baby is hungrier and beginning to teeth.

Place pouch into a pot of boiling water and re-heat from frozen for about 6 minutes. Unscrew lid and pour into bowl.
Let the baby food defrost thoroughly and then heat pouch in pot of boiling water until warm.
